Ice Your Rival and Acquire Cold Profit at Xbox NHL 10

So you think you are the slickest Xbox NHL 10 hot shot, and you've been crushing your opponents game after game. So you're the slickest Xbox NHL 10 player, and you've been putting all your rivals on ice.} You're a hardcore player who likes the thrill of sports video game battles. Since you are more than able to mix it up with the top gamers, this is your moment to assert yourself in the video game world and proclaim your prowess in Xbox NHL 10. So it is about time you went in the rink, and hashed it out, when you play sports video games for money. Wagering each other in sports video games for cash -- these players aren't screwing around. To display your unquestioned status in sports video games, garnering up a string of victories, along with your opponent's cash, is the path to declaring your impressiveness.} Not that playing Xbox sports video games isn't great… but when you play for money, it's a lot more awesome. The missing piece of the puzzle that every video game player has been wanting for some time is here.} Your pals may throw around the bull, but now you have the chance to expose them as the big talkers they are - placing a bankroll on the game's verdict is a real equalizer here.}

By now, you're thirsting to face off against the tough guys at Xbox NHL 10, what with all the machismo floating around here.} We know you just want to shoot over to the rink, fire up the video game console, and start playing.} Who in hell wouldn't? But - and this is a big however - you require something other than a conceited posture if you wish for to humiliate your challengers at Xbox NHL 10.} Make sure you know what you're doing out there… make sure your trash talk doesn't exceed your abilities. Or, in simpler terms: know the game. Don't be the dumbass who goes off half-cocked, doesn't know what he's doing, and makes an ass of himself. While your "shoot first, ask questions later" method may work for you during an attempt to score some ladies at your local pub, it may not be so ideal when playing sports video games for money, which is a real test of your manhood.} So see to it that you only start up a game once you have all the strategies down pat. If you don't, and your rival does, well, there's nothing colder than being the one to lose the wager.

So, as soon as you're certain you have landed the outrageous Xbox NHL 10 abilities, and all of your shots is the unstoppable the moment in time to put a stop to sitting on the sidelines and transmute your sports video game skills into a few significant money. See if there are any worthy (or even not-so-worthy) opponents, and start inviting them to face off in the rink.} And if they're on the fence about going toe-to-toe, a little smack talk is sure to push them over the edge. If there's one thing about the hardcore gamers, they don't walk away from a challenge. But in the end, we're sure you'll talk some trash, play your match, and win some cash. Xbox NHL 10 is, as to be expected, a monumental step forward in video hockey games. As truly incredible as the graphics to NHL 09 were, these are even more vivid and realistic. And the animation is even more fluid. While remaining true to the NHL formula of high-octane video hockey, Xbox NHL 10 throws in some new wrinkles that are going to juice up the video game world. Post-whistle action is sure to be the instant crowd-pleaser amongst the hardcore gamers; as you probably figured out, it's where you can mix it up, after the whistle gets blown. More specifically, players have a brief but great opportunity to sneak in a few checks - and a cheap shot or two, which then sets the stage for the brawl that you're coveting. Additionally it's just a matter of time before your team members come swarming to your defense and initiate bandying a small number of shots of their own, as a result of the inventive stage of superiority in gaming technology.} It won't come as any surprise that these brawls quickly deteriorate into an all out mess on the ice - the sport is known for this sort of thing.

Of course, giving the game even more flavor is the Xbox NHL 10 soundtrack.} It would be unfeasible to envision any sports video game self-respecting without a number of high-octane tunes to drive up the action, and Xbox NHL 10 yet again supplies. Here's what NHL 10 delivers:} "Young Cardinals" by Alexisonfire, "Deathsmarch" by Cancer Bats, "Hellions on Parade" by CKY, "Golden Years" by Disco Ensemble, "Heroes of Our Time" by Dragonforce, "Anything 'Cept the Truth" by Eagles of Death Metal, "Oye Vaya" by Earl Greyhound, "Know Your Enemy" by Green Day, "Peace Sells" by Megadeth, "Wake Up! Wake Up!" by MeTalkPretty, "Keys to the City" from Ministry & Co-Conspirators, "Kids in America" by MxPx, Nickelback's "Burn It to the Ground," Papa Roach's "Into the Light," "Raccoon Eyes" by Priestess, "The Bravest Kids" from Rancid, Scorpions' rock anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane," and "Fire It Up" by Thousand Foot Krutch. Checking out the tunes supplies an additional component to the whole sensation - you'll declare you are down on the ice, playing in the realthing Another great aspect of NHL 10, the intimidation tactics, give an added layer of realism to the game, just when you thought it couldn't get any better.} If you want to give the cheering crowds something to really scream and yell about, start shaking down your opponent. And the spectators in the bunch in Xbox NHL 10 are not only there for show. They're an active part of the game - when something happens, they react.} Just as any group of spectators, this crowd goes nuts when their team performs well, and gets pissed when their team performs poorly. So you have the chance to get the audience standing up and cheering for you - if you perform some amazing plays, of course. There's something else you may want to consider, though maybe we're being kind of harsh here.} Check out at NHL 10, and then contrast that to the junk your folks took part in long ago, the stuff they stated were sports video games.} This was before the revolution that gave us 8-bit and then 16-bit games - 4K was as good as it got. You wanted to play sports video games in the dawn of the 80s, you played this - video game players had it rough back then:}

Though any resemblance to a sports video game is purely coincidental by today's standards, these graphics were once considered cutting edge.} All you had were four men on the non-scrolling rink. A player and his goalie. The option to pick your team of choice was out of the question. Get this.} This particular video game cartridge was viewed as one of, if not the, paramount sports video games presented, upon its introduction.} No kidding - that game is what gamers stayed up all night playing in those days.} Primitive graphics and non-existent sound effects were all the rage in '82, apparently. And now check out of what you are able to involve yourself in at present, in comparison to the aforementioned "old school" cartridge, although perchance this is not a rational fight.} The way we see it, your father or grandfather or great grandfather or whoever was playing this stuff was living in the video game Paleolithic era.} Even the next generation of gaming - the 8-bit games -- can't compare to today's Xbox hockey tournaments. If you're still not convinced, get a good look at this "oldie but a moldy": at least you can choose from six different teams. And to conceive that the video game world was positive that the height of video game cartridges had reached its destination with this one. If you're not for the short term unable to use your eyes from viewing that one, check out again at what NHL 10 game has to present, and once more be appreciative for current video game technology. Even more once you remember each and every one of the facets not possible in the sports video games of the olden days.} There was no Battle for the Cup, no Playoff Mode, no Season Mode, no Be a GM or Be a Tough Guy. And let's not get started on the lack of online gaming back then. The only thing you could do in the past was to keep craving.} You were able to have six teams, stuttering graphics, and very little else.

However, Xbox NHL 10 takes sports video games to a whole new level. It was more or less expected that the reviewers all felt strongly about this one, naming Xbox NHL 10 as one of their all-time favorite sports video games.} And after seeing the game in action, you'll feel the same way - with the players' movement so realistic as they make their way around the ice, it's almost impossible to draw a distinction between a real hockey game and the video game. Much credit has to be given to EA, who set the bar even higher for sports video games with their latest entry.} And don't get us started on the facial expressions the players display - there's more range in one game of Xbox NHL 10 than an entire year of your girlfriend's daytime soaps. Then there are the fight scenes, that boast a first person perspective that you won't fathom.} You'll believe you're going toe-to-toe in an actual fistfight - but without the busted bones.}

As in NHL 09, familiar voices Gary Thorne and Bill Clement join the action with their on-the-money commentary. Having these two on hand is nothing to scoff at, either.} Take into account these two chaps' qualifications.} First there's "Clement, Clement, Hand of Cement," Bill Clement, revered NHL All-Star, and member of the ESPN family.} And Clement's co-commentator, ESPN's Gary Thorne, is held in high regard as well.} Listening to these men report on the game is a grand experience.} Xbox NHL 10 is so accurate that you will be positive that the pair is visiting in your quarters.

Precision passing is the latest innovation in Xbox NHL 10 that should impress hardcore gamers. In this game, the player has far more impact on the puck's overall speed, as opposed to the earlier entries in the NHL video game series. And on top of that, you can, contingent on your aim and might of the slap shot, bank your passes off of the board.} Yet another innovation that's got the video game world abuzz - for the first time, Xbox NHL 10 lets gamers battle on the boards. You heard me - now, when you're in possession of the puck but are pinned up against the boards, you have the ability to stop your rival from nabbing the puck, by kick-passing it to a teammate. In contrast, if your enemy is being pinned to the boards by you, now is when you are capable of really put yourself in control - assuming you are the unsurpassed hockey player on the stadium.}
