Ps3 Will Handle 3D Blu-ray

I just hit my head on the ceiling following reading this: The Blu-ray Disc Association has announced that the PS3 are gonna be completely compatible with 3D standards.

It is incredible news for PS3 owners, who will likely not have to shell out money for a brand new player for 3D movies. According on the way to the newly-released specs, Sony's console will play movies in 3D 1080p, though functioning with any and each and just about every kind of 3D display. That includes LCD, plasma and projection in full HD, while allowing for 2D playback on both existing and 3D players. Adding about the enjoyable will almost certainly be 3D menus and navigation, giving Playstation 3 proprietors the full futuristic knowledge. The crazier aspect is the fact that most current Blu-ray players won't support 3D. That means your buddy's standalone Blu-ray player is gonna be useless, though you may appreciate Playstation 3 games and 3D films on your exisiting console. It is sure to piss off individuals proprietors but you will likely not hear me complaining. Clearly you are going to still need to buy a Tv to support the 3D capability, but hey, half the battle has alreadybeen won. There's no release date for 3D movies yet, but further announcements are sure to stick to. Inside of the meantime, Playstation 3 owners can rest easy and look forward to the future of watching 3D movies with their console. It also adds bragging rights for the Playstation 3-Xbox 360 debate and gives present Blu-ray owners some thing to whine about. So, PS3 proprietors... Excited? And understanding this, will you invest in a Tv to support 3D motion pictures? Be specified to check out Playstation 3 gaming arenas. They've everything from NBA 10 to Fight Night Round 4 and lots of live video games opponents waiting for your challenge. Start playing!
